The Sunset Press International Signalcards
This is a deck of 66 cardboard cards and four additional cards of instructions for use that was manufactured and distributed by the Sunset Press in San Diego, California. There is no zip code noted on the box so I am assuming that they are circa 1960 or earlier.
According to the seller, the instruction cards refer to changes in Maritime law in the 1940's. The cards show: International Code Flags, Navy Numeral Flags, Morse Code equivalents of words and numbers, the Phonetic Alphabet used by the Army and Navy (as adopted in 1943), and Distress Signals and Signals for the Control of Merchant Vessels.
